Background

Founded in Stockholm in the early 2020s by Swedish champions Alexander Ruas and Oskar Garberg, Standout Coffee set out to make competition caliber coffees accessible beyond the stage. The philosophy is producer first sourcing with rare varieties and precise, light roasting, paired with open education and coaching that grew a global audience for their competition and specialty ranges. Their Coffee Studio in Frihamnen turns that approach into a guest experience with tasting led service and limited releases that highlight process and provenance.

Standout Coffee Studio in Frihamnen is a calm, studio-like bar where clean lines and an understated counter keep all the focus on what is in the cups. Here espresso, V60 and competition-style brews built from their own high-end coffees are served at a shared coffee table, with a knowledgeable team guiding guests through clarity, depth and character in each cup, so the space feels as much curated showroom as everyday Stockholm café.
