Co-founded in Zurich with World Brewers Cup Champion Matt Winton, Rose roasts light and precise, delivering clean cups with producer-forward, information-clear packaging. The offer list balances classic profiles with measured, well handled experiments. The project is still young and there is no dedicated coffee bar, which limits depth of service and is why the recognition does not sit higher, but the direction and cup quality are unmistakably strong.
Background
Founded in Zurich in 2022 by World Brewers Cup Champion Matt Winton, originally with Frederic Brunner, Rose set out with one clear intention, to roast coffee that makes you stop, think, and taste. The house style is built on clearly identified single origin lots, competition discipline, and roasting that favors sweetness, clarity, and place, presented with transparent sourcing and calm, education led service. Fellow champion Sierra Yeo has since joined, and partner coffee bars in Zurich carry this approach into daily cups.
